Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit and use delulia.ch (“DELULIA”, the “Website”).

DELULIA is currently an information and recommendation platform for selected products in the areas of self-care, beauty, wellness and home. DELULIA does not sell these products directly. Where appropriately marked partner links are used, visitors are redirected to external providers’ websites, where any purchase is completed directly with the respective provider.

2. What Personal Data Do We Process?

Depending on how you use our Website, we may process the following types of data in particular:

  • Contact and communication data, including your email address and information you voluntarily provide when contacting us.
  • Newsletter data, including your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter.
  • Technical data, such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system and technical information relating to access to our Website.
  • Usage data, such as information about which pages or content are accessed and how visitors interact with our Website.
  • Cookie and similar data, where cookies or comparable technologies are used on our Website.

Under its current affiliate model, DELULIA does not process payment information, orders, delivery addresses or returns, as purchases are completed directly with the respective third-party provider.

3. Purposes of Data Processing

We may use personal data in particular to:

  • provide and technically operate our Website;
  • ensure the security and stability of the Website;
  • improve the content and functionality of the Website;
  • respond to enquiries;
  • send our newsletter if you have subscribed to it;
  • analyse the use of our Website where corresponding analytics functions are used;
  • comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We process personal data only to the extent necessary for the relevant purposes and as permitted under applicable data protection law.

4. Shopify

This Website is operated using Shopify. The provider is Shopify International Limited, Ireland. In connection with the operation of this Website, Shopify processes certain personal data and technical information, such as IP addresses, device and browser information and information about the use of the Website.

We use Shopify Network Intelligence. In this context, Shopify may combine data from the use of our store with data from other Shopify services in order to improve Shopify services and provide personalisation, analytics and advertising features. Where consent is required, such data processing will only take place after you have provided your consent through our cookie and privacy settings.

Shopify may also process personal data through affiliated companies and service providers in other countries. According to Shopify, appropriate safeguards are used for international data transfers.

Further information about Shopify’s processing of personal data and your privacy rights can be found in Shopify’s privacy information and privacy portal.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our Website may use cookies and similar technologies. These may be necessary for the technical operation of the Website or — depending on the functions used and your settings — may serve analytics, personalisation or marketing purposes.

Where consent is required, the relevant technologies will only be used in accordance with your selection in the privacy settings.

You can manage your choices through the privacy settings provided on the Website.

The Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC/EDÖB) notes that cookies may be used both for necessary website functions and for tracking, and that certain forms of personalised advertising in particular may require consent.

6. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send you information, inspiration, recommendations and news from DELULIA.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in our emails.

We will then no longer use your email address for newsletter purposes unless another legal basis requires or permits further retention.

7. Affiliate Links and External Providers

DELULIA uses or may use affiliate or partner links.

When you click on such a link, you will be redirected to the website of an external provider. The respective provider may use its own cookies or tracking technologies and process personal data in accordance with its own privacy policy.

DELULIA may receive a commission from the respective partner for certain qualifying purchases or other actions. This generally does not result in any additional cost to you.

Any purchase agreement relating to a recommended product is concluded not with DELULIA, but directly with the respective external provider. Payment, delivery, returns, warranties and customer service are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective provider.

8. Links and Social Media

Our Website may contain links to external websites and to our profiles on social networks, such as Instagram.

When you click on such a link, you leave our Website. The operator of the respective platform is generally responsible for any subsequent processing of personal data.

Please refer to the respective provider’s privacy policy for further information.

9. Disclosure of Personal Data

We may disclose personal data to service providers where this is necessary to operate our Website or provide a function you use.

This includes Shopify in particular as the provider of our Website infrastructure.

Other service providers are involved only in accordance with the functions and services actually used by DELULIA.

Personal data may also be disclosed where required by law, where necessary to protect or enforce our rights, or where you have consented to such disclosure.

10. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers may process personal data outside Switzerland.

The countries concerned may have a different level of data protection from Switzerland. Where required, appropriate legal or contractual safeguards are used for international data transfers.

For transfers from Switzerland, Shopify states that it uses, among other safeguards, its Binding Corporate Rules and, for certain onward transfers, contractual safeguards.

11. Data Retention

Personal data is generally retained only for as long as necessary for the respective processing purpose or as required by applicable legal retention obligations.

The specific retention period may vary depending on the type of data and the purpose for which it is processed.

12. Data Security

We and our service providers take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration.

However, completely risk-free data transmission or storage cannot be guaranteed.

13. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection law, you may in particular have rights to:

  • obtain information about the processing of your personal data;
  • correct inaccurate personal data;
  • request deletion of personal data;
  • obtain or transfer certain personal data;
  • withdraw consent that you have previously provided.

These rights may be subject to legal requirements and limitations.

To exercise your rights, please contact us at debora@delulia.ch.
